Jerry Kommrusch

Architectural Designer

Jerry grew up in Schaumburg, Illinois where he took architecture classes in high school. During that time he would often reminisce of visits to the log lodges and various visitors centers through the mountains of Colorado and South Dakota. This gave him the dream of some day designing with logs, and with this kindling his love of design he pursued a degree at William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois. After earning an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences of Architectural Technology, he set off for Colorado to find his future.

Since the start of his employment in July of 1992 Jerry, or JK for short, has worked on a countless number of projects. These ranged from small hunting cabins and weekend getaways to multi-million dollar primary residences.  One of the most recognizable structures JK personally designed is the main clubhouse for the Pelican Lakes Country Club in Windsor Colorado.

The many private mountain homes JK has designed are scattered throughout Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming. JK has worked alongside builders, Engineers and Architects displaying a broad knowledge in his specialized design field, often times working with these other professionals to improve upon their designs.

Currently, Jerryh lives in Northern Colorado with his two children and close family. He enjoys the outdoors and cycling as well as gathering with friends over self prepared gourmet meals.
