What’s better than that? We’ll answer that for you: a nearby connection to the 21-mile Poudre River Trail Corridor and the 40+ miles of paved, natural and open space trails of Windsor. A simple 2.5-mile bike ride north from RainDance and Pelican Farms lands you at one of the many trail-heads to start your journey.

Pull up a chair.  Between Water Valley and RainDance, you’ll never run out of restaurant options all within range of a golf cart.

Take the short ride to Water Valley and check out the golf simulators in the Sand Bar, or sit down to a steak dinner and the Grill House. Or head to RainDance and sit outside by the water at the neighborhood restaurant, Ted’s Sweetwater Grill.

The five lakes at Water Valley are home to a variety of fish that are available for catch and release. Largemouth bass, Smallmouth Bass, Wiper, Walleye, Catfish, Crappie, and Yellow Perch are all waiting for you to drop that lure in the water. It’s some of the best fishing in Northern Colorado.

In addition, bring the kids by the Homestead at RainDance and fish in the stocked pond right next to the restaurant. Ted’s Trout Pond is filled with thousands of rainbow trout that you can catch and keep.
